Pharmaceutical Isolators for Ahmadi Hospital, Kuwait Oil Company (K.O.C.)
During March 2000 Mach-Aire supplied, installed and validated two of their I.C.T. range of pharmaceutical isolator in the new sterile facility at the Ahmadi Hospital, Kuwait. The K.O.C. hospital has a link with St. James's Hospital in Dublin.The new unit was opened and a full staff training programme and equipment validation was carried out by both St. James's Hospital staff and Mach-Aire staff. The new unit has a 4 glove, ICT-180 isolator and a 2 glove, ICT-120 isolator together with a Grade C (European G.M.P.) environment Clean Room, Changing facility and associated equipment. Full clean room and isolator validation was carried out in accordance with International guidelines by both Mach-Aire staff and their local distributors "AZ Trading Company" service engineers. AZ Trading Company will carry out the essential on-going service requirement for the new facility over the coming years.The new sterile unit is used to prepare antibiotics and T.P.N. for Paediatrics and adults.
